Part of the My First? series of ballets by English National Ballet and English National Ballet School, My First Sleeping Beauty has been created especially for a family audience. Performed to Tchaikovsky?s gorgeous
 waltz-filled score, children will be transported to a magical world of castles and curses, forests and fairies.
 
My First Sleeping Beauty is choreographed by former Royal Ballet Soloist Matthew Hart. Also an awardwinning choreographer, he has created work for classical companies in the UK and abroad. He joined Balletboyz as a founder member of George Piper Dances and was a guest artist with K Ballet, Tokyo.
 
Matthew returned to the Royal Opera House and for ROH2 to create Toad in Will Tuckett's The Wind in the
Willows and the Devil in Tuckett's The Soldier's Tale. His witty and inventive children?s ballet, Peter and the
Wolf, was created for the Royal Ballet School in 1995 and revived in 2010 for The Royal Opera House.
